The CFO Centre are looking for a Qualified Accountant with a strong technical background, Team management experience, Experience of embedding robust month end processes and controls, Good knowledge of Systems, Excel and reporting tools i.e. Power BI.

Analytical mindset with experience of data analysis and data manipulation.

Duties

• Embed monthly timetable with robust reporting deadlines.

• Provide guidance and training to Central team and Finance team on finance procedures and processes.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting (finance) department.
• Annual audit – a key point of contact for auditors.
• Maintain files and records to document transactions.

• Deal with escalations from principals, clients and internal customers providing support to Core Finance team.

• Review monthly close process and ensure that all appropriate reconciliations and documentation is provided and saved in shared folder.

• Approval on changes to payment terms.

• Create and maintain a 3month rolling cashflow forecast, including variance analysis and commentary – work with FBPs, Head of UK Finance.

• Ownership of balance sheet and all reconciliations.

• Ensure that financial controls are embedded in team.

• Ensure that new reporting requirements are implemented and built into monthly timetable.

• Data management of finance and CRM system to ensure insights can be sought via Power BI tools etc – report development.

• Monitor and analyse accounting data.

• Implement team and control changes as directed by UK Head of Finance / Group FC

• Identify areas where value can be added.

• Supporting country migrations to central systems.
• Involved in additional projects as they arise
